I’m bummed that I only saw this movie once in theaters, it was delightful. It’s one you want to own, even if you just like watching other people watch it for the first time. It’s pretty hard not to like this movie.

When I first got my own apartment with no roomies I, like most college grads, was strapped for cash. That said, most of my furnishings came bit by bit from IKEA, and everything was $200 or less. No lie, and that was all fine for then. Now, I’m realizing that my Klippan or Klobo or whatever the cuss it was, is less of a couch an more of love seat or a chair and a half.

Hence my new mission: Operation Grown-Up Couch

Steve Carlson just reminded me of how amazing it was to see Sigur Ros at the Orpheum last September. This links through to a video of the Gobbledigook performance from the show we were at. We were siting right of stage, the YouTube video was shot left of stage. Still it brightens those memories almost to the point of euphoria.

This was the best live show I’ve ever been to.

This is album art from the latest brainchild of Josh Homme (QOTS) and David GrohI. I love this album. I just got it yesterday but (shhh, I’m listened to it like six times). It’s Them Crooked Vultures and you need to click this post and go buy it.

Josh Homme - Vocals and Guitaur, JPJ - Bass, Drums - Dave (omgbemybestfriend) Grohl. How can this album fail? It can’t. Grows on you like Paris Hilton herpes, fast and wild.

This album sounds like a union meeting at a construction workforce in hell plus love.

I keep trying to tell people that this is the wave of the future, but no one believes me. Pets are overrated, and really who couldn’t use more product in their hair? And these models are actually wearing devices far more beneficial that simply sculpted hair, Hair Hats as they are called are about to be all-the-rage or some blah-blah.
